Emory Gene Wolfe

Mr. Emory Gene Wolfe, 81, of Crawfordville Rd.in Philomath, died Thursday, February 12, 2015, at the V. A. Medical Center in Augusta. Mr. Wolfe was born in Lincolnton but had lived in the Philomath Community for most of his life. He was the husband of the late Daisy Bryan Wolfe, and was the son of the late Henry Albert and Ollie Partridge Wolfe.He was a self- employed construction contractor, and was a veteran of the United States Army.Mr. Wolfe was preceded in death by a son, Danny Wolfe, by a grandson, Bryan Wolfe, and by a great granddaughter, Aubrey Miller. Graveside services will be Saturday, February 14, 2015, at 3:00 pm at the Philomath Cemetery with Rev. Terry Casper officiating. Mr. Wolfe is survived by two sons, Lester Wolfe (Dianne), of Washington, and Greg Wolfe (Kay), of Philomath; by one brother, Albert P. Wolfe, of Alabama; six grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Philomath Presbyterian Church on the cemetery property.
