Ms. Lisa Kelly

August 26, 1965 - February 18, 2018

Ms. Lisa Kay Kelly, 52, of Hallford Rd., passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018, in Washington. Ms. Kelly was born in Washington and had lived here for most of her life. She was the daughter of Reba Broome Howell and of the late Bobby Burdette. She graduated from Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School, had worked as a hairdresser, and was a member of the Washington Presbyterian Church. Lisa was a friend to all and dearly loved her family and being a grandmother. She is survived by two daughters, Jana McCarty and Mary Beth McCarty, both of Washington; one son, Chris McCarty, of Washington; five grandchildren, Dhani Mitchell, Paris Mitchell, Kordai McCarty, Javon McCarty, and Kintrai McCarty; and by her loving aunts, uncles, and cousins Graveside services will be 11:00am Friday, February 23, 2018, at the Clifford Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Glenn Kohlhagen officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8pm at Hopkins Funeral Home.
