Camilla Scott

Mrs. Camilla Polito Scott, of Madison, formerly of Washington, died Friday in St. Mary's Hospital in Athens.A native of Cohasset, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late William and Lucia Cooke Polito.Mrs. Scott was Co-Proprietor of Clark Gresham Furniture Store with her husband, the late Henry Joe Scott, Sr.She was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Washington.Funeral services were held Sunday, February 12th at 2:00pm in the First Baptist Church Washington with Rev. Albert Huyck officiating.Bill Bryans, Richie Broome, Joey Scott, Tim Varvel, Steve Echols and Sam Scott served as pallbearers. Interment followed in the Resthaven Cemetery.Survivors include one son and daughter in law, Scotty and Genise Scott, Thomson; two daughters and sons in law, Carolyn and Glynn Broome, Madison and Betty and Chuck Valentine, Thomson; grandchildren, Angie Varvel, Chesapeake, VA, Joey Scott, Thomson, Betsy Harrison, Tignall, Emmanuel Harrison, Clearwater, FL, Marie Bryans, Madison and Richie Broome, Durham, N.C.; great grandchildren, Timothy Scott Varvel II, Camilla Bryans, Spencer Broome, Summer Scott, Emma Scott and Landen Harrison; sisters, Barbara Harris, Hingham, MA, Mickie Gardner, Stafford, VA, Ann Luker, Cohasset, MA, Antonet King, Colorado Springs, CO; and one brother, William Polito, Jr., Cohasset, MA. The family received friends Saturday from 5-7pm at the funeral home.
