Carol Elaine Daniel, age 79, of Washington, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Wills Memorial Hospital.

Carol was born on June 27, 1946, at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. She grew up in Snellville, Georgia, and graduated from South Gwinnett High School. After marrying the love of her life, Jeff, they built a home in Lilburn, Georgia, where they raised their family. Following Jeff’s retirement, they moved in 2005 to his family farm in Washington, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Jewell Webb and Doris Stephens Webb; her brother, William Steve Webb; and her nephews, William Shannon Webb and William Logan Webb.

Carol is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Henry Jefferson Daniel II (Jeff); her daughter Tammy Brantley and husband Harry of Washington, Georgia; her son Henry Jefferson Daniel III (Jeffrey) and wife Debra of Social Circle, Georgia; and her daughter Natalie Satterfield and husband Cory of Anderson, South Carolina.

She is also survived by her two sisters, whom she adored: Kay Lunsford of Eatonton, Georgia, and Kathy Drummond and husband Kent of Blairsville, Georgia.

Carol was a proud grandmother to Clint Brantley, Cody Brantley, Cassidy Claxton, Will Satterfield and wife Ashley, Lute Satterfield, Davis Satterfield, Nikki LaTorre, Hannah Daniel, and Haley Daniel. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Alayna Brantley, Holly Brantley, Luna Brantley, Evie Claxton, Madison LaTorre, and Colton LaTorre, along with many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Carol worked for Life of Georgia in Atlanta and later retired from Gwinnett County Schools, where she served faithfully as a school bus driver. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church in Tignall, Georgia, where she had many dear friends and a strong church family.

She loved her family deeply and would do anything in the world for them. Carol enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening, and she was known as a selfless person who always put others first. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is now at rest with her Savior, Jesus Christ, in Heaven.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 12:00 noon at Beulah Baptist Church, 6556 Elberton Highway, Tignall, GA, with Rev. Mike Thigpen officiating. Burial will follow at Fishing Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 1762 Sandtown Road, Washington, GA.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at Beulah Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Beulah Baptist Church, 6556 Elberton Highway, Tignall, GA 30668.
