Dennis Reid Nash, of Rayle, GA a beloved husband, father, and dedicated farmer, passed away on Friday, October 31st, 2025, at the age of 71. Dennis was born on December 16th, 1953, in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dennis was a devoted husband of 44 years to Polly Nash of Rayle, GA and the proud father of Reid Nash of Gainesville, GA, brother, Kenneth Allen Nash (Mary) of Beverly Hills, FL and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Allen Nash and Virginia Alice Nash, as well as his grandparents, Tom Reid Nash and Sara Meadows Nash.

A man of the land, Dennis attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, GA, where he honed his skills and passion for agriculture. His career as a farmer was marked by his dedication to sustainable practices, and he was recognized as a certified tree farmer. Dennis's love for the outdoors was evident in his pursuits as a master hunter and an avid fisherman. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was working on his farm or spending time in nature. Dennis was a member of County Line Baptist Church in Rayle, GA,

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11AM on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at County Line Baptist Church in Rayle, GA.

His family invites those who knew him to celebrate his life and the indelible mark he left on the community and the land he cherished.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to County Line Baptist Church, c/o Midge Walker, 815 Walker Road, Rayle, GA 30660.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Hopkins Funeral Home in Washington, GA.
