Douglas Moon

Mr. Douglas Wainright Moon, 68, died December 17, 2010 at his home in Tunnel Hill, Georgia.He was a native of Lincolnton, the son of the late Heard and Mattie Palmer Moon.Mr. Moon was a retired carpenter/logger. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, December 19th at 3:30pm in the Palmer Fain Family Cemetery in Tignall. Survivors include his wife, Carol Busbee Moon; son Matthew Moon, Unadilla; daughter, Angie Moon, Tunnel Hill; brother George Moon, Washington; five grandchildren, Andrea Royal, Amber Southern, Ashley Royal, Russell Royal and Anthony Cox; four great grandchildren, Katrina Royal, Kyra Cox, Stephone Southern and Chloe Southern; several nieces and nephews.
