Ellen Mae Albo

Ellen Mae Brinker Albo, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 15th, 2026, at her home in Woodville, Georgia. She was born on June 12th, 1954, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Harvey Brinker and Ellen May Brinker.

For 15 years, Ellen worked at Ingles in Greensboro, Georgia, where she eventually retired. Through the years, she formed many friendships with coworkers and customers and was known for her kindness and the care she showed everyone.

Outside of work, Ellen enjoyed hosting, cooking, spending time with her family, and sitting on her porch watching the horses.

Ellen was the cherished wife of Mark Albo, with whom she shared 52 wonderful years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Stephen Albo and his wife, Angel, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Stacy Albo and her husband, Russell Farmer, of Woodville, Georgia; grandchildren Charity Benefield and her husband, Jacob; Dixielyn Moore; and Hunter Moore; and great-grandson Carter Benefield and family.

A celebration of Ellen’s life will be held at a later date.

Ellen will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
