Evelyn Cofer

Evelyn Cofer Mrs. Evelyn Hunter Cofer, 81, of Washington, died February 12, 2009.She was a native of Taliaferro County and the daughter of the late Dave and Eva Edwards Hunter and the widow of Lynwood Cofer.She was co-owner ofCofer Sales and Serviceand a member of Phillips Mill Baptist Church. Graveside services will be Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 3:00pm in Resthaven Cemetery.Bobby Standard, Drew Cofer, Tracy Weber, Adam Standard, Dustin Cofer and Winfred Morgan will serve as pallbearers and the Adult Women III Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers. Survivors include one daughter, Faye (Gary) Hopkins, Washington; one son, Jeff (Renee) Cofer, Comer; three grandchildren, Bobby (Tesi) Standard, Dustin Cofer and Drew Cofer; great grandchildren, Adam and Brooke Standard and two step great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8pm at Hopkins Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Phillips Mill Baptist Church Building Fund.
