Mrs. Gloria Anne Kitchens Armour, 77, of Philomath, entered into rest Thursday evening, July 15, 2021, at her home. She was born in Jefferson, Ga., had lived in Philomath for most of her life, and was the daughter of the late Earnest Kitchens and Lorena Huff Kitchens.She was the wife of Mr. Max H. Armour, and had worked as a school bus driver for a number of years.She was a longtime member of the Carters Grove Baptist Church.The family would like to thank Regency Southern Care Hospice Services for the wonderful support and excellent care extended to them during Mrs. Armour’s illness.It is greatly appreciated. Mrs. Armour is survived by her husband of 62 years, Max H. Armour, of the home; one daughter, Donna Anne Gray, and husband Brad, of Rayle; one son, Kevin Armour, of Philomath; three grandchildren, Roy Andrews III, of Rayle, Justin (Tiffany) Callaway, of Washington, and Savannah James, of Tampa, Fla.; seven great grandchildren, Roy Andrews IV, Nathan Andrews, Bryson Callaway, Luke Callaway, Russell Callaway, Rose Acevedo, and William Acevedo; one sister-in-law, Scarlett Kitchens and a nephew, Chris Kitchens, both of Monroe.She was preceded in death by her brother, Van Kitchens, a daughter, Connie James, and a grandson, Ashley James. Funeral services will be 4:00pm Saturday, July 24, 2021, at the Carters Grove Baptist Church with Rev, Glenn Henley officiating.Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service on Saturday at Carters Grove Baptist Church.
