James Mark Froeliger

Mr. James Mark Froeliger, 69, of Grove St. in Washington, entered into rest on Friday, May 24, 2024, at his home.

Mr. Froeliger was born in Sterling, Ill., and he and his wife, Susan, had lived in Washington for the last 3 years.  He was the son of the late James E. Froeliger and Helen Shanafelt Froeliger, and was a retired processing engineer, where he specialized in power plant proposals.  He was the husband of Susan M. Froeliger, and was preceded in death by a son, James M. Froeliger, Jr., and by a daughter, Leah Froeliger.  Mr. Froeliger was of the Baptist Faith.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Marion Kelley Froeliger, of Washington;  his daughter, Sarah F. Davis, and husband Ruben Laban Davis, of Harlem, Ga.; four grandchildren, Brianne Froeliger, Ryder Davis, Jordan Davis, and Adalynn Davis; and one great grandson, Asa Froeliger.
