Mr. James Harold Holloway, 77, of Hill St., entered into eternal rest Tuesday morning, August 14, 2018, at Kindred Hospice in Athens. Mr. Holloway was born in Wilkes County and had lived here most of his life.He was the son of the late Harvey L. Holloway and Bobbie Young Holloway, and was the husband of Joyce Lankford Holloway. Mr. Holloway had worked for the Coca-Cola Company for 43 years.He was a member of the Washington First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joyce Lankford Holloway, of Washington; one son, Barry Holloway, and wife Julia Anne, of Washington; five grandchildren, Tiffanie H. Standard (Adam), Lacey H. Goldman (Jeremy),Ashlyn Holley,Alyssa Holley, and Deanne Holloway; and four great grandchildren, Hayden Goldman, Wyatt Goldman, Dillon Standard, and Carley Holloway. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday, August 16, 2018, at the Hopkins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. W.C. Bentley and Rev. Kevin Madden officiating. The committal service and interment will follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
