Julia Taylor

Mrs. Julia Bacon Taylor, 90, of Lake View, SC (formerly of Crawfordville), died at home Sunday, September 12, 2010. Mrs. Taylor was born in Warrenton and lived most of her life in Taliaferro County.She was the daughter of Carlton Bacon and Myrtle Bishop Bacon.She worked at Hendricks Florist in Washington for a number of years as a floral designer, and was a member of the Crawfordville Baptist Church. Graveside services will be Thursday morning, September 16, 2010, at 11:00 at the Crawfordville Cemetery with Rev. Craig Tetter and Rev. Dennis Garner officiating. Mrs. Taylor is survived by her daughter, Glenna (Jimmy) Brown, of Lake View, and a grandson, Justin (Becky) Swann, also of Lake View: and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 – 8 pm at Hopkins Funeral Home.
