Linda Dianne Daniel

Linda Dianne Daniel, a beloved member of the Tignall, GA community, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 5th, 2025 at Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center in Augusta, GA, at the age of 82. Born Linda Burson on September 28th, 1943, in Marietta, Georgia, she was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose life was marked by love and dedication

Linda is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Charles Thomas Daniel, of Tignall, GA. Together, they built a life centered on family values and love for one another. She is also survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Deanna Holloway of Temple, GA, and her adored grandchildren, Christopher Holloway and wife Jacqui of Orlando, FL, Matthew Holloway and wife Jesika of Covington, GA, Travis Holloway of Buchanon, GA, Lenny Ivey, James (Sabrina) Ivey, Bobby Daniel and Crystal Daniel. Her legacy extends to her cherished great-grandchildren, Logan and Marshall Holloway, of Orlando, FL, Damion Nash, Connor Mancil. Linda will be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews, whose lives she touched deeply.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Garland Taft Burson and Ester Cash Burson, along with her sisters and brothers-in-law, Jeanette and Victor Spence and Geraldine and Jim Wynn, brother, Garland Lavoyd Burson and great grandson, Shane Ivey.

For over two decades, Linda served as a dedicated city clerk for the City of Tignall, where her commitment to the community was unwavering. She was also a faithful member of Tabor Baptist Church in Tignall, GA.

Outside her professional life, Linda indulged in various hobbies that showcased her creativity and keen eye for detail. She had a passion for shopping, jewelry making, crafting, crocheting, and knitting, hobbies that kept her vibrant and joyful. These activities brought solace and happiness, not only to herself but also to those who received her beautifully crafted gifts.

The family will receive friends at Hopkins Funeral Home on Monday, December 15, 2025, from 6 PM to 8 PM.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2026 at 11 AM, at Tabor Baptist Church in Tignall, GA. Burial will follow at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery in Tignall, GA. Pastor Paul Reviere will officiate the service.
