Lois Flynt Mrs. Lois Blakey Flynt, 98, of Washington, passed away March 15, 2015 in Nancy Hart Nursing Home.A native of Danburg, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Roy Lester Blakey, Sr. and the late Ida Elizabeth Adams Blakey and the widow of James Lewis Flynt.Mrs. Flynt was a homemaker and the oldest member of Beulah Baptist Church where she was a member of the WMU. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 11:00am in Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. Lem Clark and Rev. Leonard R. Perry officiating.Interment will be in the Washington Chapel Cemetery in Metasville at 1:30pm.Robert Rhodes, Jr., Kevin Brown, Jeremiah Smith, Carri Newby, Michael Perry and Jeff Blakey will serve as pallbearers and Terry Blakey will serve as honorary pallbearer. Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Doris and Robert S. “Bo” Rhodes, of Tignall, Rosemary and Olin C. Newby, of Washington, Elaine and Leonard R. Perry, of Jasper and Karen and Edward Radakovitz, of Washington; one brother, Bobby Blakey, of Danburg; eight grandchildren, Robert S. Rhodes, Jr., Carri Newby, Laura Newby, LTC. Kevin D. Brown, Captain Michael L Perry, Glenn Wilder, Tracy Wilder and Jeremiah Smith; seventeen great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren. The family will receive friends in the church Tuesday beginning at 10:00am until just prior to service time.
