Mark Novak

Mark Joseph Novak, of the Washington, GA community, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, December 14th, 2025, at the age of 62. Mark was on Saturday, February 23rd, 1963, in Chicago, Illinois.

Mark was a proud high school graduate who devoted his professional life to the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning industry. He later worked as a mechanic for Double D Maintenance in Washington. To his coworkers, Mark was far more than a colleague—he was family.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Stanley S. Novak and Lillian M. Novak, whose memories he cherished deeply. Mark is survived by his coworkers at Double D Maintenance, who were like family to him and will miss him dearly.

A private service to honor Mark’s life will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hopkins Funeral Home, where his final farewell is being handled with care and respect.

Mark’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew him, and his memory will be forever cherished by all who had the privilege of calling him a friend.
