Mary Nell Denard

Mrs. Mary Nell Taylor Denard, 95, of Washington, died February 23, 2009 in Wills Memorial Hospital.She was a native of Taliaferro County but lived most of her life in Wilkes County.She was the daughter of the late Thomas Taylor and Mattie Seago Taylor and the widow of Ulyce Cloyd Denard.Mrs. Denard was a member of Phillips Mill Baptist Church and a homemaker. Funeral services will be Thursday at 3:00pm in Phillips Mill Baptist Church with Rev. John King, Rev. Wade Palmer and Rev. Bill Brown officiating.Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Survivors include one son, Cloyd Denard and his wife, Brenda of Augusta; two grandchildren, Donald Denard and his wife, Amy of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Derek Denard, of Winston-Salem, N.C. and three great grandchildren.
