Melvie Escoe

Mrs. Melvie Chafin Escoe, 99, of Crawford, Georgia died November 28, 2008 in Quiet Oaks Nursing Home.She was a native of Oglethorpe County, the widow of Boyd Escoe and the daughter of the late Gabe and Clara Patton Chafin.Mrs. Escoe was a homemaker and member of Bethesda Baptist Church. Graveside services will be Monday at 3:00p.m. in Bethesda Church Cemetery with Rev. Donnie Berry officiating. Survivors include two nieces, Betty Jean Echols and Sybil Hayes; four grandchildren, Danny and Buddy Escoe, Judy Nation and Tami Arnold; seven great grandchildren and five great, great grandchildren.
