Paul Peeler

Mr. PaulReviere Peeler, 72, of Washington, passed away January 2, 2015 in University Hospital.A native of Lincolnton, Georgia, he was the son of the late Lawrence S. and Alma Danner Peeler.Mr. Peeler served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps, attended First Baptist Church, Washington and Ebenezer Baptist Church.He was co-proprietor of a grocery store. Funeral services will be Monday, January 5th at 2:00pm in First Baptist Church, Washington with Revs. AlbertHuyck and Kevin Madden officiating.Interment will follow in Resthaven Cemetery. Tucker Peeler, Liam Coleman, Ross Coleman, Dusty Turner, Will Lawson and Clay Lawson will serve as pallbearers. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Ramey Peeler; one son and daughter in law, Paul “Buddy” and Michelle Peeler, of Stone Mountain; three daughters and son in law, Natalie Peeler Coleman, of Lawrenceville, Janice S. and Earl Leavenworth, of Washington and Shela S. Lawson, of Washington; one brother Mac (Marion) Peeler, of Wrens; two sisters, Edith Peeler(Romie) Beckum and Elsie Peeler Seigler, both of Lincolnton; eight grandchildren, Tucker Peeler, Samantha Peeler, Liam Coleman, Ross Coleman, Dusty Turner, Jessica Turner, Will Lawson and Clay Lawson; a number of nieces and nephews and his beloved Schnauzer, Lizzie. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6-8pm at Hopkins Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Washington-Wilkes Animal Shelter, 358 Brown Rd., Washington, GA 30673
