William E Roberts

Mr. William Edward Roberts, Jr., 79, of Rayle, died Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Medical College of Georgia.He was the son of the late William Edward Roberts and the late Sara Cleonis “Connie” Heath Roberts.Pete, as he was known, served his country in the U.S. Navy.He enjoyed playing the guitar and was said to have a beautiful singing voice in his younger years.Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Roberts. Survivors include cousins, George Hagan and Garry Hagan, both of Aiken, South Carolina.
